I'm trying to get the SMPTE straight out the back of my deck, using the 9
pin serial bus that's for editing control and reading SMPTE. This bus is
the same in all BetaCam and high-end S-VHS editing decks. I'm using VITC, but
that should make no difference at the serial bus.
I really have no need for the TRG-50PC.
